Halloween at the Dojo!

Halloween Events at Magnus Karate – 2022

We had the best spooky weekend at the dojo last weekend! Our celebration was two days long and allowed everyone from our Junior Magnus students to our Teaching Team members to pull out their costumes and have some fun.

On Friday night our youngest students enjoyed a party with Halloween themed karate games and dojo trick or treating. Then our 7+ students arrived for a spooky, glow in the dark party! Flying side-kicks in the (almost) dark were so cool, but things really heated up when all of the glow items came out. Saturday featured a celebration for our Leadership Team and Teaching Team students complete with small group pumpkin carving, games, more glow in the dark fun, and a Halloween movie. All of our students enjoyed treats too!

Sensei the skeleton – a Halloween fanatic – had the dojo and lobby spooked out karate style! With the decorating help of his Teaching Team he was able to have ghosts, bats, spiders, and pumpkins everywhere you looked. The halloween twinkle lights made the perfect ambiance for our weekend of events and the Halloween blow ups have multiplied – with even more than he had last year. The haunted dojo was visited by aliens, Elmo, ghosts, Austin Powers, and of course Phillies players – it was a great weekend!!
