December 17, 2021 Events Night Review
This past Friday was busy at the dojo! We had three special events operating between 5PM to 9:30PM!
Eskrima Workshop:
We started our night off with our monthly free workshop options for Age 7+ beginners, green and brown belts with an Eskrima workshop. The event was well attended and all of our students had a great experience learning new and exciting content. Eskrima is the platform tool we use within our Magnus Weapon Arts program, all students begin their weapon arts journey with Eskrima. Many thanks to our Teaching Team and Leadership Team members for supporting and coaching with Sensei at the event.
Black Belt Promotions:
We were honored to promote our fall 2021 test group to youth black belt this past Friday night. It was a wonderful celebration where Sensei spoke about the group’s dedication and effort, and then followed with individual remarks regarding each students progress to get to this point. Congratulations to all! The next journey begins…
COOL FACT:6 out of the nine students in the group picture below began their journey as Junior Magnus (Age 4-6) participants. Those 6 are now Leadership Team members and support Junior Magnus classes!
Leadership Team Holiday Party:
Our Leadership Team gathered for an all team / all levels holiday party. It was a great time had by all as we played fun games and competitions, ate tons of cookies from our cookie exchange, and wrapped up the night with pizza and a movie (we watched Elf!).
